Executive Leadership

MICHAEL TRACY – Owner/Managing Principal

Owner/Managing PrincipalMr. Tracy has over 25 years of professional human resources management experience with well-respected organizations such as Dayton Hudson Corporation, KFC-PepsiCo, and Culinary Concepts Ltd, a subsidiary of Hallmark Corporation. His passion to help organizations build and manage great teams led to him creating OMNI in 1998.

Michaelis the current President of the Overland Park Rotary Club and served as the 2017 Chairman of the Board for the Overland Park Chamber of Commerce. Additionally, he is actively involved with professional and civic organizations in Kansas City, and serves on several nonprofit boards and advisory groups.

Mr. Tracy completed his SPHR in 1994 and has enjoyed being an adjunct faculty member at Friends University in Lenexa, KS. His favorite hobbies are traveling, running and cooking. He is the proud father of three terrific grown kids, and the grandfather of six fantastic grandchildren.

Melissa WatkinsMELISSA SHRIVER – Vice President

With 28 years of client service and human resource experience, Ms. Shriver has a wealth of expertise. Melissa brings extensive experience in client engagement, talent acquisition/development, employee relations and investigations, vendor management, benefit selection, and leadership coaching and counsel. Ms. Shriver has been instrumental in building OMNI’s Talent Acquisition Practice from its inception to the now established team of search consultants generating significant value for our clients locally, regionally, and nationally.

During her career, Ms. Shriver has served as the lead consultant on hundreds of searches within banking, healthcare, manufacturing and high growth startups, as well as providing guidance to clients in the development of their own talent acquisition teams and practices. In her current role she is focused on OMNI’s outsourcing and consulting practices, serving as a trusted advisor to her clients, many of whom she has worked with for 10+ years.

Prior to joining OMNI, Melissa spent six years at a Kansas City-based retainer search firm where her performance as a Senior Consultant contributed to the retention and growth of the firm’s three largest accounts. She also served as a Business Unit Director for a high growth IT consulting firm and launched a successful boutique search practice serving the healthcare industry. Her earlier human resources career includes six years in sales, staff, and management roles with Adecco, the world’s global leader in HR solutions.

Ms. Shriver earned her Bachelor’s degree from Kansas State University in 1986. She serves on the board of Bra Couture KC which provides support to uninsured and underinsured cancer patients in the Kansas City community. Outside of the office, Melissa enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and is an avid reader.

Sonja Ambur, Senior ConsultantSONJA AMBUR – Operations Director, Employee Services

Ms. Ambur is an accomplished Human Resources leader with over 30 years of experience. Her background includes human resources and leadership roles with Embarq, Sprint, and American Century Investors. Recently, Ms. Ambur has been promoted to the position of Operations Director, Employee Services. In this new role she uses her extensive experience as a Senior Consultant to manage additional responsibilities including day-to-day management of OMNI’s growing Employee Services group, and provides leadership and guidance to all areas related to payroll, benefits administration, HRIS and all HR operational processes.

Ms. Ambur has an M.S. in Human Resources Management from the American University in Washington, D.C., and an undergraduate degree from Augustana College in Sioux Falls, S.D. She is currently a member of 100 Women Who Care and serves as a Representative for the Cedar Creek Neighborhood. Sonja enjoys traveling and visiting family across the country.

JON BINDER – Senior Consultant & Compensation Practice LeaderJon Binder

Mr. Binder provides our clients with expert support with employee relations, compensation, leadership development and related areas. Jon is a senior level executive with 25 years of human resources experience and more than 15 years of compensation design and consulting experience. Prior to joining OMNI, Jon enjoyed a successful career in finance and as a human resources executive with Sprint. In addition to his role at OMNI, he has been functioning as an independent consultant since 2009. Jon has a BBA in Accounting from the University of Cincinnati and earned his MBA from Rockhurst University in Kansas City.

SCOTT MCTAGUE – Senior Consultant, Professional Development Practice Leader

Mr. McTague brings more than 20 years of expertise in a multitude of HR industry areas, including learning and development, management training, talent management, and employee engagement. As Senior Consultant and Professional Development Practice Leader, Scott serves as the company’s resident professional development and training expert, further expanding the consulting branch of the business. In addition, he offers expertise in talent selection and development, adding depth to OMNI’s Talent Acquisition team. Scott holds a BA from University of Kansas in Psychology and a Master’s degree from University of North Texas in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. Outside of work, Scott enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, playing with his dog, cooking, golfing, and landscaping.

TERESA TOAL – Senior Consultant

Ms. Toal is a trusted advisor and problem solver with over 20 years of experience as both an external and internal consultant across multiple Human Resources disciplines. Teresa provides solutions in the areas of employee relations, leadership development, compensation, performance and talent management opportunities. She has a M.S. in Human Resources Business Administration from University of Kansas and a B.A. in Industrial Relations from Rockhurst University. Outside of work, Teresa enjoys coaching and cheering on her boys in sports and activities, spending time with family and friends, volunteering, traveling and pursuing a healthy lifestyle.

HEIDI STIGERS – Business ManagerHeidi Stigers 

Ms. Stigers is responsible for the business and administrative functions of OMNI. Additionally, she handles technology deployment and new client setup for the Outsourcing team. Heidi previously spent nine years as the Business Manager with the Central Exchange. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Northeast Missouri University and a Master’s degree in International Management from University of Denver. Heidi enjoys cooking and gardening, as well as spending time with family and friends.

CRISTI DINKEL – Human Resources ConsultantCristi Dinkel

Ms. Dinkel has enjoyed over 15 successful years working in the HR industry. In her role, Cristi provides guidance and support to clients in the areas of employee relations, payroll, benefits, policies/procedures, recruiting and onboarding. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas and her Master’s degree from the University of Minnesota in Counseling and Psychology. Additionally, Cristi earned her SPHR designation in 2001. Outside of work, Cristi enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.

SHERRY MARKO, PHR – SHRM-CP – Human Resources Consultant Sherry Marko

Ms. Marko is responsible for all client business process functions associated with payroll, benefits administrations, client employee services and compliance. Sherry previously spent several years with organizations including Hewitt Associates and the American Academy of Family Physicians. Ms. Marko has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration-Finance from the University of Iowa. Additionally, she acquired her PHR in 2010 and SHRM-CP in 2015. Outside of work, Sherry enjoys spending time on the lake with friends and family.

JACOB ESKINA – Employee Services ConsultantJacob Eskina

Mr. Eskina manages payroll, benefits, and employment-related services within designated client groups. His favorite aspect of this role is building relationships with employees and continunig to learn about the different functions of human resources. Since joining OMNI in 2016, Jacob has held several roles supporting the company’s outsourcing, consulting, and membership clients. Jacob attended the University of Kansas, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with concentrations in Human Resource Management and Entrepreneurship. Outside of the office, he enjoys watching baseball and spending time with family and friends.

ALICIA MORRISON – Employee Services Consultant

Ms. Morrison is responsible for all HR administration and process management support within designated client groups. Alicia has more than five years of experience in human resources operations and strong knowledge of the HRIS environment in which OMNI operates. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management from Park University, has her SHRM-CP certification, and is an active member of SHRM-KC. Currently, Ms. Morrison is working towards her Master’s degree at Tulane University, School of Law, in the Masters of Jurisprudence Labor and Employment Law program. Outside of work, Alicia loves to spend time with her husband, son, and dog and enjoys taking vacations to Disney with her family.

SARA FLOODBERG – Employee Services Consultant

Ms. Floodberg supports OMNI’s Outsourcing clients in HR administration and payroll and benefits support. Sara has more than 5 years of experience in Human Resources and received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration – Human Resources Management. Ms. Floodberg is currently pursuing an MBA. Sara enjoys HR and especially Outsourcing because she gets to help a variety of employees every day. Outside of the office, she enjoys traveling and outdoor activities with her husband and two children and volunteering in the community.

BRENDA MULLINS – Human Resources Specialist

Ms. Mullins supports OMNI’s Outsourcing and Recruitment clients with background checks, assistance in payroll processing, and top-notch customer service. Brenda brings more than 20 years of human resources and administrative experience, with practical knowledge of employer/employee benefits, compensation, and general support. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Management and Human Resources from MidAmerica Nazarene University and is also a certified medical assistant, with experience in hands-on clinical support. In her spare time, Brenda enjoys refurbishing furniture, browsing estate sales, and volunteering with her church.

MICHELLE ANDERSON – Senior Search Consultant & Non-profit Practice Leader

Michelle Anderson

Ms. Anderson adds a wealth of experience to OMNI’s Talent Acquisition team. Ms. Anderson’s focus as Senior Search Consultant is working exclusively on C-level and senior management engagements within a variety of industries to include banking/financial services, healthcare and non-profit. Her outstanding performance at OMNI has assisted the significant growth of our recruitment practice. She joined OMNI in 2006, after a successful seven year stint as a Senior Consultant with a boutique retainer search firm representing clients such as Applebee’s, Tension Envelope, and First National Nebraska. Michelle has a vast network of strategic contacts that she has cultivated both as a consultant and during her years as Recruitment Manager for Inacom, an Inc. 500 firm.

ANNA ROBINSON – Senior Search Consultant & Practice Leader – Health Care Search

Ms. Robinson joins OMNI as the company officially expands into health care search specialization. Anna brings more than 17 years of experience, most recently including 10 years as the head of clinical recruitment with American Dental Partners and affiliated dental group practices throughout the U.S. Her extensive industry knowledge helps guide clients through the search and selection process to ensure the best fit is selected for organizational needs. Ms. Robinson received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Kansas. Anna enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, traveling and cooking for family and friends.

JULIE ANDERSON – Operations Director, Talent AcquisitionJulie Anderson

Ms. Anderson joined OMNI’s Talent Acquisition team in 2014 and has recently been promoted to Operations Director, Talent Acquisition. Her promotion to this new role is a result of her great work and the growth of the recruitment solutions support OMNI provides its growing client base. After completing her Bachelor’s degree in Marketing at Kansas State University, Julie spent a few years in the transportation industry before moving to Sprint in 1995. Over her 19-year tenure at Sprint she supported recruitment across multiple business functions, and most recently managed the college recruitment effort at Sprint. Outside of work, Julie enjoys cheering on her boys in sports and entertaining friends and family.

BRIANNA MOORE STEINKE – Search ConsultantBrianna Steinke

Brianna provides recruitment support to a variety of clients, with an emphasis in the nonprofit sector. Prior to joining OMNI in 2014, she worked in advertising sales and marketing for various Fortune 500 clients. This experience sharpened her client management skills across a multitude of industries. Brianna earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Kansas. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, fitness, and supporting social causes.

OLIVIA FITTS – Search Consultant

Ms. Fitts joined OMNI as a Search Consultant in 2017 and brings more than 15 years of business and human resources experience. Previously, Olivia has been on the talent acquisitions teams with both Sprint and AMC. Olivia earned her Bachelor’s degree from NWMSU in Corporate Wellness, Master’s degree from Baker University in Management, and obtained her PHR certification in 2016. When she’s not at the office, Olivia enjoys reading, traveling, pursuing wellness, volunteering, and spending time with friends and family.

HILARY HARVEY – Search Consultant

Ms. Harvey joined the OMNI search team in 2018, bringing more than 25 years of experience in search and corporate recruitment. Hilary’s background includes an emphasis on search in healthcare, clinical research, finance, and general administration, along with high volume exempt and non-exempt roles. Hilary holds a Bachelor of Science from Kansas State University. Her favorite part of recruiting is being able to help someone find their perfect “home” at work. Outside of the office, Hilary enjoys spending time with family and friends, walking with her Yorkie in tow, shopping for vintage finds, and the arts.

BRENNA THOMPSON – Recruitment Specialist

Ms. Thompson joins the team as Recruitment Specialist, supporting OMNI’s search consultants and talent acquisition team. Brenna is also the first face to greet visitors who enter the OMNI office. Ms. Thompson recently received her B.A. in Psychology and was an Honor’s Scholar at Baker University. When she’s not at the office, Brenna enjoys spending time outdoors, listening to local music artists, and supporting social causes including animal rights and personal health.

OLIVIA CORAZZIN – Communications Coordinator

Ms. Corazzin supports our team through executive administration, marketing initiatives, events coordination and project and proposal support. After earning her B.A. in Political Science at Truman State University, Olivia worked in client relations and marketing at a website design and internet advertising firm. She enjoys getting to know our clients and flexing her creative muscles to make HR concepts more approachable. Recently, she’s joined the Junior Board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Kansas City. In her free time, Olivia enjoys working on home improvement projects, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
