As OMNI’s Recruitment Operations Manager, Lauren serves as the operational hub for OMNI’s Talent Acquisition Team, including coordination of proposal development and administration; project tracking, monitoring, and reporting; and general oversight of departmental systems, processes, and quality control. Lauren comes to OMNI from Payne & Jones, Chartered, where she served as a Legal Assistant for almost seven years, and Front Desk Receptionist for just over a year. Her comprehensive experience in client relations and project management make her an excellent fit for her new role. When she is not at work, Lauren enjoys spending time with her husband and two young daughters.
Julie joined OMNI in 2014 and leads the ongoing development, implementation, and management of the human resource operational functions and processes at OMNI. Prior to her current role, Ms. Anderson oversaw recruitment technologies and processes in support of the development and growth of OMNI’s Talent Acquisition practice.
A graduate of Kansas State University, Julie has more than 20 years of experience in talent acquisition and recruitment program management. She is a 2019 graduate of Leadership Overland Park and is an active member and former board volunteer with KACE (Kansas Association of Colleges and Employers). Outside of work, Julie enjoys spending time with her husband and sons and entertaining friends and family.
Karen serves as Senior Consultant to select outsourcing clients, bringing with her more than 20 years of experience in HR leadership. Karen provides HR guidance, coaching, and counseling for her clients, with an emphasis on start-ups and fast growth companies. Her background includes 13 years as Executive Director, HR Services, at Applebee’s International and Director of Training & Organizational Development at Gentiva Health Services. Karen attended the Executive Leadership Program at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. In addition to her talents in HR, she is passionate about helping women achieve their full potential and has expertise in strategic business meetings and conferences, serving as President & CEO of her event management company.
Molly has been with OMNI since March of 2020 and has strong experience in customer service and human resources. Molly serves in two roles for our clients. As HR Specialist, she works with our clients’ hiring managers to ensure that the new hire process is efficient for all new employees. As Membership Concierge, Molly serves as a key liaison with OMNI Membership clients, helping responding to their questions and helping them to access tools and resources. Molly graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in Business Administration and gained a certificate in Baking and Pastry Arts during her college years. Though she no longer bakes on a professional level, she does still enjoy indulging in fun desserts and pastries. In her spare time, Molly enjoys spending time with friends, family, husband and two young children, and enjoying all things Kansas City. She looks forward to communicating with clients and to assisting them with all aspects of the hiring process.
ROGER DUSING, PHD
Roger comes to OMNI from Park University, where he served as Chief Human Resource Officer for eleven years. With over 40 years of HR experience, including 30 years in C-suite level roles, he looks forward to reflecting his passion for higher education in his work to bring affordable, high-quality HR services to small- to medium-sized colleges and universities.
Roger holds a PhD in Business Management, with a concentration in Human Resources from Northcentral University, a Master of Science in Administration from Central Michigan University, and a BS in Industrial Engineering from Bradley University. He also authored the book “I’m Fired?!? A Business Fable About the Challenges of Losing One Job and Finding Another.”
Roger enjoys spending time with his wife, two children, and four grandchildren. He and his wife are addicted to pickleball.
Before forming OMNI, Michael Tracy spent over 15 years in professional human resources management roles with well-respected organizations such as Dayton Hudson Corporation, KFC-PepsiCo, and Culinary Concepts Ltd, a subsidiary of Hallmark Corporation. While large corporations certainly offer their own set of challenges in the HR “space,” his passion to help entrepreneurial and mid-size organizations became a more challenging and rewarding endeavor. Since 1998, Michael and his team have been doing just that, supporting both for-profit and nonprofit enterprises throughout the region and the Midwest.
Michael is also very active in the community, serving as the 2017 Chairman of the Board for the Overland Park Chamber of Commerce, 2017-2018 President of the Overland Park Rotary Club, and active member of the University of Kansas Medical Center Advancement Board. He continues to be engaged on several other nonprofit boards and advisory groups as well. His favorite hobbies include traveling, running, and cooking. He is the proud father of three terrific grown kids, and grandfather to seven amazing grandkids.
Jon provides our clients with expert support with employee relations, compensation, leadership development and related areas. He is a senior level executive with 25 years of human resources experience and more than 15 years of compensation design and consulting experience. Prior to joining OMNI, Jon enjoyed a successful career in finance and as a human resources executive with Sprint. In addition to his role at OMNI, he has been functioning as an independent consultant since 2009. Jon has a BBA in Accounting from the University of Cincinnati and earned his MBA from Rockhurst University in Kansas City. Jon serves as a Board member with Sherwood Autism Center.
Heidi is responsible for the business and administrative functions of OMNI. Additionally, she handles technology deployment and new client setup for the Outsourcing team. Heidi previously spent nine years as the Business Manager with the Central Exchange. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Northeast Missouri University and a Master’s degree in International Management from University of Denver. Heidi enjoys cooking and gardening, as well as spending time with family and friends.
Michelle adds a wealth of experience to OMNI’s Talent Acquisition team, joining OMNI after serving seven years as a senior consultant with a boutique retainer search firm representing clients such as Applebee’s, Tension Envelope, and First National Nebraska. During her years as a consultant and as a recruitment manager for Inacom, an Inc. 500 firm, Michelle has cultivated a vast network of strategic contacts that supports her talent acquisition practice. Her focus as OMNI’s Vice President of Executive Search is working exclusively on C-level and senior management engagements within a variety of industries, including banking/financial services, manufacturing, healthcare, and nonprofit. With several hundred senior- and executive-level searches successfully completed since joining OMNI in 2007, Michelle’s outstanding performance has assisted in the significant growth of our recruitment practice. Michelle serves her community as a Board member of Jackson County CASA and on the Johnson County Advisory Committee for the Metropolitan Organization to Counter Sexual Assault.
Anna joins OMNI as the company officially expands into health care search specialization. She brings more than 17 years of experience, most recently including 10 years as the head of clinical recruitment with American Dental Partners and affiliated dental group practices throughout the U.S. Her extensive industry knowledge helps guide clients through the search and selection process to ensure the best fit is selected for organizational needs. Anna received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Kansas and acquired her SHRM-Senior Certified Professional in 2019. Anna enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, traveling, and cooking for family and friends.
Amy assists OMNI’s administrative team as Bookkeeper, handling accounts payable and receivable, generating invoices, and processing payments. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of Iowa. In her spare time, she enjoys attending live music events, participating in outdoor activities of all kinds, and spending time with her children and grandson.
Tiffany has enjoyed over 20 successful years working as an HR professional. Her background includes HR leadership roles with Sprint, Embarq, and most recently, International Paper. Tiffany is a true business partner to her clients and their business, forging trusting partnerships with C-level to frontline employees. Tiffany is passionate about guiding and supporting her clients to recruit top talent, to build a strong team, engage employees, lead and manage change and develop leaders at all levels in an organization.
In her role at OMNI, Tiffany utilizes her strategic network to create diverse candidate pools for key positions for clients. She also works with clients to create and deliver training programs that will prepare and lead management teams to the next level. She is a utility player for the OMNI team and can take on any assignment, especially in the areas of employee and labor relations, recruitment efforts, professional development, and change management.
Nancy comes to OMNI with over 22 years of prior human resource management and small business ownership experience. Her focus is on management, employee and organizational structure, and development. Nancy previously worked for 13 years at Ford Motor Company and was the Owner and President of a bed and breakfast on the Country Club Plaza. She graduated from Canisius College with a Psychology/Gerontology degree and received her master’s degree from Syracuse University in Personnel and Industrial Relations/Innovative Marketing. In her spare time, she enjoys attending farmers’ markets, cooking with her husband, devouring audiobooks, and traveling.
Debi joins the OMNI team with over twelve years of prior Human Resource experience in benefits, payroll, and associate relations. In her role at OMNI, she serves clients and their employees with all payroll and benefits related inquiries. Previously, Debi worked at the Kansas City Zoo in the Finance and Human Resources departments. In her spare time, she enjoys working out, watching movies, doing crafts and spending time outdoors – especially at her favorite place, Powell Gardens.
Meredith provides recruitment support for our clients and serves as a liaison for the talent acquisition and consulting departments. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business from Emporia State University and, prior to joining OMNI Human Resource Management, worked for Frisco ISD and Colliers International. In her spare time she enjoys working out, watching sports and spending time with her husband.
Teresa joins the OMNI staff with experience in payroll and other related human resource knowledge. She will be helping our clients by facilitating payroll, benefits and onboarding. She has a master’s degree in human resource management and enjoys the new challenges every day brings. When Teresa isn’t working, she enjoys working out, traveling, watching Netflix, and hanging out with family and friends.
Emily joins the OMNI team with over 10 years of Human Resources experience in payroll, benefits, employee services, and more. In her role at OMNI, she serves clients and their employees with all payroll and benefits related inquires. Previously, Emily worked for an essential mineral company as a Payroll and Benefits Analyst and as an HR Analyst. Emily is a graduate of Kansas State University. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, attending her kids’ sports and activities, reading, and being outdoors.
Jennifer comes to us with over 20 years’ experience as a nonprofit professional. Her background includes four years as Executive Director of a Connecticut nonprofit with a state mandate to evaluate state-funded mental health programs, assess strengths and unmet needs, and make recommendations for improvements. She led a grassroots effort to protect funding for her organization, involving hundreds of community volunteers and developed strong relationships with state legislators that were instrumental in achieving the goal of the initiative. She also brings valuable expertise to OMNI in community and media relations, marketing and branding, project management, and strategic planning. Jennifer recently moved to the Kansas City area, following her husband’s retirement from the Navy, and looks forward to finally putting down some deep roots in the area. Jennifer is a travel enthusiast, and her favorite weekend activity is hiking with her husband.
Ann is a strategic business partner and HR leader across multiple disciplines of human resources. With a passion for building strong partnerships with her clients, she enjoys understanding the business and providing solutions in the areas of employee relations, compliance, leadership development, talent management, recruiting, training, and compensation. She has over 25 years of human resources experience in a variety of industries including PEO, legal, technology, energy, insurance, and nonprofit. Ann has a Bachelors’ degree in Psychology with minors in Management and English from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. In her spare time, Ann enjoys wellness, interior design, hiking and spending time with her husband and daughter.
Meredith brings more than 15 years of multi-disciplinary executive-level leadership to her work with OMNI as a Senior Consultant. She is skilled in organizational structure and management, strategic communications, employee relations, and leadership development. Meredith also utilizes her training as a certified executive coach to guide and counsel individuals and teams. Meredith has a Bachelors’ degree in Journalism and a Masters’ Degree in Public Administration, both from the University of Kansas. Outside of work, Meredith enjoys traveling, volunteering, attending concerts, and spending time with family and friends.
Stacey Cowan brings nearly seven years’ experience as Membership Director for the Overland Park Chamber of Commerce to her work with OMNI as a Senior Consultant. While at the Chamber, she led membership recruitment and retention efforts and represented the Chamber in the community, building an extensive network of relationships to strengthen local businesses. Prior to that, she held several leadership roles in the hospitality industry. Ms. Cowan’s wealth of community involvement and business development experience will be an enormous asset to OMNI’s steadily growing Executive Search practice.
Kelly’s past roles include Director of Human Resources at Woodside, where she was the first to serve in such a role. While at Woodside, she implemented a new payroll system and was instrumental in streamlining operations and efficiencies through the development of new policies and procedures. She also optimized hiring and onboarding functions, restructured the performance review process, and assisted in staring up a new property management company. Kelly has a long history of working with payroll and benefits and has held leadership positions at Hyvee, Home Depot, and Westar Foods. She is the proud mother of three adult children and grandmother of two young grandsons.
With 20 years’ experience working in HR, Keli views herself as a businessperson, as well as an HR professional. Her background in accounting has also been a plus for her understanding of the business environment that HR supports. Keli has worked in the energy sector for Koch Industries and Merrill Lynch, in Higher Ed and K-12 education, and has served on several non-profit boards. She is a strategic partner who can provide services in all areas of human resources to support your business needs. Keli and her husband have two high school age children and love all that the Kansas City area has to offer families.
Prior to joining OMNI Human Resource Management talent acquisition team in 2020, Ms. Hoffman led the talent acquisition teams at Kansas City Southern Railway and Sprint world headquarters. She has over 30 years’ experience in HR management and talent acquisition and is recognized for partnering with senior leaders to identify needs, translating them into initiatives that attract, develop, and retain top talent. Ms. Hoffman holds a graduate MSM degree from Baker University and a BS degree from Pittsburg State University. Outside of work Karen enjoys traveling both domestically and overseas.
Teresa is a trusted advisor and problem solver with over 20 years of experience as both an external and internal consultant across multiple Human Resources disciplines. She provides solutions in the areas of employee relations, leadership development, compensation, performance and talent management opportunities. Teresa has a MS in Human Resources Business Administration from University of Kansas and a BA in Industrial Relations from Rockhurst University. She acquired her SHRM-Senior Certified Professional in 2019. Outside of work, Teresa enjoys coaching and cheering on her boys in sports and activities, spending time with family and friends, volunteering, traveling and pursuing a healthy lifestyle.
