Perhaps you’ve just been promoted to a supervisory role. Or perhaps your promotion is not so recent, but you could still use some help in the transition to leading others. Either way, this three-part training is for you. Led by top experts from OMNI’s HR Consulting Team, participants will meet via Zoom on three consecutive Thursdays (November 2nd, November 9th, and November 16th) to gain information and valuable insights on the major building blocks of becoming an effective supervisor and team leader. Because each session will build upon the previous one, participants are strongly encouraged to attend all three sessions.
Session 1 Description:
Many supervisors are, for the first time ever, taking on the responsibility of “managing” people. In this session, we’ll provide helpful and important context for what it means to “manage” people. We’ll also explore the essentials to successful people management, which includes helpful reference tools regarding labor laws. This session is designed to put the supervisor on the right track for continued management success.
